Right now, the goal of Sonders Rising is to foster a community of ideation, belonging and agency. This is about exploration, not monetization. At this stage, all contributions are unpaid, and the focus is on building a space for deep thinking, shared storytelling, and evolving ideas together.

The Sonders Rising Writing Team

Some writers do not have their own platform, but they have something to say. If that’s you, you’re welcome here.

Authors who write under Sonders Rising contribute articles that are inspired by the chapters of the series, Sonders Rising: Awakenings. You can write as often or as little as you like—there’s no commitment level. You’ll simply be added to the list of contributing authors, and whenever inspiration strikes, you can write and publish under Sonders Rising.

To get started, just contact me and let me know you’d like to write for Sonders Rising. That’s it. No gatekeeping, no approval process—just a space where your voice can be part of something bigger.

Write on Your Own Platform

If you’re an established writer or creator who already has your own audience, you’re still welcome to join the conversation.

If you write an article that’s inspired by Sonders Rising, I only ask one thing:

👉 Include a link back to the chapter that sparked your piece.

This helps weave together the shared conversation, making it easier for readers to explore the ideas and perspectives that emerge from the series.

You can always send me your article to be published! Simply send me your content and let me know if you consent to providing your name, or if you’d rather have it published anonymously.

Writing Guidelines

No matter how you contribute, these are the core guidelines that define Sonders Rising:

🔹 Extremism is part of the story—but not the solution.

It’s okay—even encouraged—to show extreme perspectives. But the goal isn’t to argue for an extreme—it’s to show why extremism alone isn’t working and how we find a better way forward.

🔹 Personal stories matter.

We are are better through our shared human experience. Personal reflections, real-life stories, and perspectives from others are deeply encouraged. This isn’t just about theory—it’s about people.

🔹 Solutions are the beginning of the conversation, not the end.

Articles can propose ideas, but not as final answers. Instead of a win/lose argument, solutions should be discussion starters—places where ideas can evolve.

👉 Encourage discussion at the end of your article. Ask a question. Invite readers to add their perspective. The hope is to stop the “having the last word” and move to wanting to spark the next one.

About Monetization

At this stage, Sonders Rising is an experiment in storytelling, discussion, community-building and action. There is no monetization, and all contributions are unpaid.

Right now, the goal is to foster a community of ideation and belonging, where people can explore big ideas together. As this evolves, so will the possibilities…but for now, this space is about engagement, not income.
